TALLAHASSE, FL (The Spread) – The big game of Week 4 of the college football season has No. 4 Florida State hosting No. 10 Clemson on Saturday at 8PM ET on ABC.

Both teams come into this game at 3-0. Florida State is 1-0 in ACC play and 3-0 at home while Clemson is 1-0 on the road and playing in its first conference game. The Tigers are 1-2 against the spread while the Seminoles are 1-1 ATS. The home team has won 9 of the last 10 in this series.

Trends show that Clemson is 6-1 against the spread in its last 7 meetings with Florida State and that the home team has covered in 13 of the last 16 games in this series. These two have also hit the over in 6 of their last 8 meetings and 5 of their last 6 meeting at FSU.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv Florida State is the favorite at home as the Seminoles have a point spread of -14.5 against Clemson. The over/under odds have been set at 56 points. Florida State has been absolutely dominant through three games, as it has outscored opponents 176-3. FSU is averaging 543.7 yards of total offense per game thus far while the defense is limiting opponents to just 103.3 total yards per game. Leading FSU thus far has been quarterback E.J. Manuel, as he has thrown for 525 yards and 6 TDs.

Clemson has been very solid as well this year, but not quite as dominant. The Tigers have scored 119 points in their three games and are averaging 517.3 total yards of offense per contest. The team is led by running back Andre Ellington, who had 328 rushing yards and four scores in the three games. Defensively, Clemson is giving up 367.7 yards per game to opponents, including 179.7 rushing yards per contest.

In terms of Injuries, Florida State offensive lineman Daniel Foose is questionable with a back injury while receiver Josh Gehres is questionable with a hamstring injury. Clemson defensive tackle DeShawn Williams is questionable with a foot injury while guard Tyler Shatley is probable as he recovers from an ankle injury.
