Tulsa vs. Oklahoma State Prediction
No. 11 Oklahoma State will open its season on Saturday when it hosts Tulsa at 12:00 p.m. ET at Boone Pickens Stadium. With the total jumping to 66, is the number too high for this matchup?

Tulsa Golden Hurricane Notes
Tulsa redshirt freshman RB Anthony Watkins has been granted a waiver to play immediately by the NCAA. Watkins (6’0/200) transferred to Tulsa after spending one season at Missouri, where he appeared in just one game and rushed for 19 yards on six carries. His immediate eligibility makes the Golden Hurricane even deeper in the backfield, with senior Shamari Brooks and redshirt freshman Christian Lovick occupying the top two spots on the depth chart. Tulsa opens its season Saturday at Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State Cowboys Notes
Oklahoma State senior WR Davontavean Martin received an eligibility waiver for the coming season. Martin (6’3/186) entered the transfer portal in mid-August and the former WSU dependable almost immediately jumped at the opportunity to join the Oklahoma State program. Now eligible, he’ll add a dependable veteran cog to what should be a loaded offensive machine led by WR Tylan Wallace and RB Chuba Hubbard this fall. During his time with Washington State, Martin logged a career receiving line of 143-1615-18. We’ll have our first chance to see Martin in action with his new outfit when the Cowboys boot up the 2020 campaign against Tulsa next Saturday.
College Football Week 3 Betting Prediction
The under has cashed in seven straight games when the Golden Hurricane takes on a non-conference opponent. The under is also 6-0 in Tulsa’s last six games played in the month of September and is 14-6 in the Golden Hurricane’s last 20 games as an underdog. Meanwhile, despite possessing a high-powered offense, the under is 4-0 in the Cowboys’ last four games dating back to last season and is 5-2 in their last seven games played in September. With this being the season opener for both sides, I see the offenses needing a game or two to shake off the rust, opening the door for under bettors to cash this afternoon.
