LSU at Home

No. 9 LSU already has a gritty road win and a SEC win to its credit this season, and on Saturday, the Tigers seem to get a break when they host Louisiana-Lafayette at 7PM ET from Tiger Stadium.

LSU held on to defeat Washington 31-23 on the road in the season opener and then defeated Vanderbilt 23-9 last weekend in its SEC opener. The Tigers had 326 yards of offense and limited Vanderbilt to 210 yards of offense with just 88 yards passing. Keiland Williams had 72 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the win while Jordan Jefferson threw for 138 yards on 20-of-29 passing.

The Cajuns have had an amazing 2-0 start with wins over Southern and Kansas State. Last week, the Cajuns edged Kansas State 17-15 at home. Tyler Albrecht kicked a 48-yard field goal with 32 seconds to play to get the win. Louisiana had just 287 yards of offense, but forced two turnovers to aid in the victory. Undrea Sails led the way for the Cajuns with 78 yards rushing and a touchdown while quarterback Chris Masson threw for 185 yards with a score. A win on Saturday for the Cajuns would give Louisiana its first 3-0 start under eighth-year coach Rickey Bustle.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made LSU 26.5-point home favorites over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 51.
