The Bulldogs haven’t had a chance to relax yet this season, opening with a 24-10 loss at Oklahoma State then picking up a narrow 41-37 win over South Carolina. Now, the Bulldogs face an improving Razorbacks team on the road with an 8-3 record against Arkansas. In last week’s win over the Gamecocks, Georgia had 308 yards of offense, but a 100-yard kick return for a touchdown by Brandon Boykin spurred on the victory. Joe Cox improved from his first game performance by throwing for 201 yards on 17-of-24 passing with two scores against South Carolina. Georgia did allow 427 yards to a Gamecocks offense that scored just seven points against N.C. State the week before.

The Razorbacks opened the year with a 48-10 win over Missouri State. Arkansas has 447 yards passing with the tandem of Ryan Mallett and Tyler Wilson. Mallett threw for 309 yards and a score while Wilson had 138 yards passing with two touchdowns. Defensively, the Razorbacks held the Bears to 205 yards of offense and had two interceptions with three sacks. Bobby Petrino is in his second season with Arkansas after leaving the Atlanta Falcons in the midst of his first year as an NFL head coach. Arkansas was just 4-3 at home last season, but Petrino lost just one home game in four seasons at Louisville.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BetOnline have made Arkansas 1-point home favorites over Georgia on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 54.
