LOUISVILLE, KY (The Spread) – No. 7 Louisville looks to continue its climb up the rankings on Saturday when it hosts Florida International at Noon ET on ESPN3.

Louisville is 3-0 on the season, 2-0 at home and 2-1 against the spread. Florida International is 0-3 on the season, 0-1 on the road and 0-3 against the spread. These two have split wins over the last two seasons with FIU covering the spread in both games.

Louisville is off to a 3-0 start following a 27-13 win at Kentucky last Saturday. The Cardinals have been looking strong thus far, averaging 40 points and 527 yards per game while the defense is holding opponents to 9 points per game. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is an early Heisman frontrunner, as he has thrown for 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns through three games. The Cardinals have five receivers with over 100 yards and two over 200 so far. DeVante Parker is leading the way with 13 catches for 257 yards and three touchdowns.

FIU is off to an awful start following a 34-13 loss to Bethune-Cookman last Saturday. The Golden Panthers ranked 116th or worse in the nation in passing yards per game, rushing yards per game, points score per game and points allowed per game. Not much is going right for this team. FIU is being led by receiver T.J. Lowder, who has 12 receptions for 169 yards and a touchdown.

In terms of Injuries, Louisville running back Corvin Lamb (knee) and tight end Hunter Bowles (neck) are both out for this game. FIU guard Jordan White (knee) and safety Demarkus Perkins (leg) are both questionable for the game.
