ATHENS, GA (The Spread) – No. 9 Georgia looks to get a comfortable win at home when the Bulldogs host North Texas on Saturday at 12:21PM ET on ESPN3.

Georgia is 1-1 on the season, 1-0 at home and 1-1 against the spread. North Texas is 2-1 overall, 0-1 on the road and 2-1 against the spread. These two have no recent meetings.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Georgia is the favored at home, as the Bulldogs have a point spread of -32.5 against North Texas. The over/under total has been set at 67 points. After dropping the season opener to Clemson, Georgia responded with a 41-30 win over South Carolina back on Sept. 7. The Bulldogs had an impressive showing, racking up 538 total yards on the vaunted Gamecocks’ defense. Georgia had a balanced display, rushing for 229 yards while throwing for 309. Aaron Murray threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns in the win while running back Todd Gurley rushed for 134 yards and a score on 30 carries.

North Texas is coming off a 34-27 win at home over Ball State a week after dropping a 27-21 decision at Ohio. The Mean Green are averaging 31.7 points per game on offense while the defense is giving up only 20 points per contest through three games. The offense has been strong, as quarterback Derek Thompson has thrown for 818 yards and five touchdowns. North Texas has two receivers with over 230 receiving yards this season.

In terms of Injuries, Georgia cornerback Shaquille Fluker (back) and split end Jonathan Rumph (hamstring) are both questionable for Saturday’s game. North Texas defensive end Brad Horton (shoulder) is questionable for the game as well.
