The Mountaineers have won the last four meetings with Maryland. The last three meetings have been seen WVU win by at least 12 points.
WVU is 2-0 on the year after beating Marshall 24-21 in overtime. The Mountaineers trailed 21-6 at one point in the fourth quarter before rallying to force overtime. On the season, Noel Devine has rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns while Geno Smith has 532 yards passing with three touchdowns.
Maryland is 2-0 after a 17-14 win over Navy to start the season and a 62-3 drubbing of Morgan State last weekend. The Terrapins have been led this season by a trio of running backs in Devin Meggett, Jamarr Robinson, and Da’Rel Scott. The three have combined for 383 yards and two scores. Robinson has also thrown for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
