No. 20 Miami is coming off a 38-34 win at Florida State on Sept. 7. The Hurricanes scored in the final minute to get the victory. Jacory Harris had a tremendous showing in the opener, as he threw for 386 yards and two touchdowns on 21-of-34 passing. Harris also had a touchdown run in the win. Miami had 476 yards of offense in the win with Travis Benjamin catching four passes for 128 yards. The Miami defense forced two turnovers and had two sacks in the win as well. Miami is looking to end a four-game losing streak to the Yellowjackets on Thursday.

No. 14 Georgia Tech is coming off a 30-27 win over Clemson last Thursday at home. The Yellowjackets took a 24-0 lead on Clemson before the Tigers stormed back to get a 27-24 lead on Georgia. Tech. The Yellowjackets hung on for the win thanks to a pair of field goals from Scott Blair. Josh Nesbitt struggled all game in the win. He was just 3-of-14 passing for 83 yards and two interceptions. Nesbitt did rush for 91 yards, while Anthony Allen had five carries for 127 yards, including an 88-yard touchdown run in the early stages of the game. Richard Jackson had an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown in the win as well. On defense, the Yellowjackets forced two interceptions and had three sacks.
