Bet on Michigan State vs. Notre Dame
Michigan State has only had one game, which was two weeks ago. The Spartans defeated Furman, 28-13. MSU was a 37.5-point favorite going into the game, but the Spartans struggled on offense, breaking in a new starting quarterback. MSU had just 361 yards of offense Tyler O’Connor got the start under center and he threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns. L.J. Scott rushed for 105 yards on 20 carries with a score as well as MSU tallied 171 yards on the ground. The MSU defense was good, holding Furman to 226 total yards. However, that was Furman.

Michigan State has been a team that has been overlooked for years, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them win as a big road underdog. However, MSU just doesn’t have a lot of chemistry right now and they didn’t get a chance to improve that following the win over Furman. Notre Dame was able to erase the loss to Texas last week at home and is clicking on offense right now. O’Connor is likely to struggle a little bit while the MSU defense is going to be honestly tested. They weren’t against Furman. Kizer is too much of a play maker for the MSU to contain.
