WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (The Spread) – No. 21 Notre Dame looks to bounce back from its first regular-season loss in over a year when it heads to Purdue on Saturday for an 8PM ET kickoff on ABC.

Notre Dame is 1-1 overall, 0-1 on the road and 0-2 against the spread. Purdue is 1-1 overall, 1-0 at home and 0-2 against the spread. Notre Dame has won five straight over Purdue coming into this game.

Notre Dame is coming off a 41-30 loss at Michigan last week. The Fighting Irish allowed Michigan to rack up 460 yards of offense in the loss, including 166 yards on the ground. The Notre Dame offense still totaled 410 yards of their own, but had two turnovers. Quarterback Tommy Rees went 29 of 51 passing for 314 yards and two touchdowns in the loss while T.J. Jones caught nine passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Purdue is coming off a 20-14 win at home over Indiana State a week after losing 42-7 at Cincinnati. The Boilermakers have been struggling on offense, averaging just 13.5 points per game and 255 yards per contest. Quarterback Rob Henry has thrown for 311 yards on 33 of 59 passing with two interceptions through the two games while Akeem Hunt is leading the team in rushing with 103 yards on 29 carries.

In terms of Injuries, Notre Dame running back Will Mahone is questionable with an ankle injury. Purdue receiver Gary Bush is questionable with an ankle injury.
