The Broncos defeated Oregon 19-8 last Thursday to open the season. The game was a defensive struggle, which was a surprise to many. The Broncos held the Ducks to just 152 yards of offense while forcing two turnovers. Oregon converted just six first downs in the game, as Boise State played sound all game long. On offense, the Broncos had just 361 yards off offense on their own, well below their 441-yard average from 2008. D.J. Harper rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown while Jeremy Avery ran for 74 yards on 27 carries. Quarterback Kellen Moore had just 197 yard through the air on 19-of-29 passing.

The RedHawks were rolled 42-0 by Kentucky last week and this week won’t be any easier. Miami only amassed 188 yards in Mike Haywood’s debut as head coach. Senior quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh had two interceptions and 126 yards passing. He completed just 13-of-34 passes. On defense, the RedHawks allowed 488 yards and 29 first downs to Kentucky. Miami didn’t force a turnover and had zero sacks in the loss.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made Boise State 36.5-point home favorites over Miami on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 52.
