LSU-Vanderbilt Odds
After nearly blowing a 20-point lead last Saturday, No. 19 LSU is a 9.5-point favorite as it opens up conference play against Vanderbilt.

LSU has won 10-of-11 in this series including the last six meetings and the Tigers have won their last three SEC openers while Vanderbilt is just 2-15 in SEC home openers.
The Tigers opened the season with a 30-24 win over North Carolina, which was missing 13 players from the active roster. LSU led 30-10 after three quarters, but just held on to win the game. The Tar Heels out-gained LSU 436-313 as LSU had five turnovers in the game. Jordan Jefferson threw 151 yards and two touchdowns while Steve Ridley rushed for 81 yards on 19 carries.
Vanderbilt started its year with a 23-21 loss to Northwestern at home. The Commodores gained 432 yards on offense but allowed 365 yards defensively. Larry Smith threw for 240 yards and one touchdown while Zac Stacy rushed for 69 yards and a score on nine carries.
