LINE MOVEMENT: The Buckeyes opened as 31-point favorites but the spread has been bet down to 28 at most online and Las Vegas sports books, although various places over the spread as high as 29.5 and as low as 27.5. As for the total, it opened at 53.5 and has been bet up to either 54.5 or 55, depending on the sports book.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Take San Diego State. According to latest college football trends, Ohio State is 0-4 in its last four games versus the Mountain West, 0-4 in its last four non-conference games, and 1-4 ATS in its last five games versus a team with a losing record. San Diego State, meanwhile, is 5-1 against the number in its last six road games and 8-3 ATS in its last 11 road games versus a team with a winning home record. There's no defense for being blown out by a FCS team at home, but it's more likely that the Aztecs were caught looking ahead to the Buckeyes than an indication that San Diego State is a horrible team. Plus, Ohio State wasn't that sharp at home last week against Buffalo despite the 20-point victory. Look for the Aztecs to cover the huge number.
