College Football Week 2 Vegas Odds

(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is getting ready for Week 2 of action. Here is a look at what Las Vegas thinks of this week’s games.

The featured game of the weekend comes out of the SEC as Missouri will host Georgia in the first SEC game for the Tigers. Kickoff for this game is set for 7:45PM ET. (View Matchup) According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Georgia is favored to win, as the Bulldogs have been given odds of -3 points against Missouri. The over/under hasn’t been set for this game. This is the first meeting between these two since 1959. Both teams come into this game at 1-0 and both have hopes to contend for the conference title this year. This will be a big early test for both teams and should show if Missouri will be able to hang in the new conference.

The week of games actually kicks off on Thursday night with Cincinnati hosting Pittsburgh at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to the MGM Mirage, the Bearcats are favored. Cincinnati has been given odds of -4 points against Pittsburgh, while the over/under has not been set yet for the game. This will be the first game of the year for the Bearcats, while Pittsburgh lost to Youngstown State on Saturday in an upset. Cincinnati has won three of its last four against Pittsburgh.
