Pac-12 Championship Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The Pac-12 Conference looks to be as competitive this season as it ever has been. Here is a look at the odds to win the Pac-12 this season.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Oregon is favored to win the Pac-12 this year, as it has 11/10 odds. Other short odds to win are UCLA (3/1), USC (5/1) and Stanford (6/1).
Oregon went 11-2 last season and 7-2 in the Pac-12 under first-year coach Mark Helfrich. The Ducks should again have one of the top offenses in the nation behind quarterback Marcus Mariota. Mariota threw for 3,665 yards and 31 touchdowns last season. Oregon won the 2011 Pac-12 Championship Game.
UCLA went 10-3 last season and 6-3 in the Pac-12. The Bruins have 14 starters back this season, led by dual-threat quarterback Brett Hundley, who threw for 3,071 yards and rushed for 748 yards last season. UCLA lost in the championship game in 2011 and 2012.
USC had a 10-4 record last season and it went 6-3 in the Pac-12, but the Trojans have turned the program over to Steve Sarkisian. USC also has 14 starters back this year, led by quarterback Cody Kessler, who threw for 2,968 yards and 20 touchdowns last year. USC has never appeared in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
Stanford went 11-3 last season and 7-2 in the Pac-12. The Cardinal have seven starters back on defense and a strong quarterback in Kevin Hogan, who had 2,630 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Stanford has won the Pac-12 the last two seasons.
