Big Ten Legends Division Odds
(TheSpread) – The Big Ten Legends Division looks to be as competitive a division as there is in the country. Here is a look at the odds to win this division title.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan is the slim favorite to win the Legends Division, as the Wolverines have odds of +250 to win. The other short odds to win are Northwestern (+260), Nebraska (+300) and Michigan State (+350).
Michigan has never won the Legends Division in its two years of existence. The Wolverines went 8-5 last season and return 13 starters. The team will be led by quarterback Devin Gardner and offensive tackle Taylor Lewan.
Northwestern has never won the division title, but the Wildcats are coming off a 10-3 season in 2012 and have 17 starters back this season. The team will be led by shifty quarterback Kain Colter.
Nebraska is the defending Legends Division champion. The Cornhuskers went 10-4 last season and return 12 starters, eight of which are on offense. Nebraska will be led by quarterback Taylor Martinez, who rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2012.
Michigan State won this division title in its first year, back in 2011. The Spartans were just 7-6 last season, but return 16 starters on this team. MSU will be led by its defense, which features linebackers Max Bullough and Denicos Allen.
