(TheSpread) – The 2013 Mid-American Conference looks to be competitive from top-to-bottom. Here is a look at the odds to win the MAC this season.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Northern Illinois is the favorite to win the title, as the Huskies have odds of +200 to win. Other short odds to win are Bowling Green (+460), Ohio (+500) and Ball State (+600).

Northern Illinois has won the last two conference championships and has played in the title game the last three years. The Huskies have a new coach this season and return just 13 starters, but have quarterback Jordan Lynch back to lead the team.

Bowling Green has never won the MAC Championship Game. The Falcons last played in the title game in 2003. The Falcons went 8-5 last season and return 21 starters, including 10 on offense.

Ohio has never won the MAC title game, but the Bobcats have appeared in the title game three times in the last seven years. Ohio went 9-4 last season but return 13 starters, including quarterback Tyler Tettleton.

Ball State has never won the MAC Championship Game and last appeared in it in 2008. The Cardinals went 9-4 last season and will return 13 starters this season.
