Big 12 Conference Odds
(TheSpread) – The Big 12 Conference will be as competitive as any conference in college football this season. Here is a look at the odds to win the 2013 conference title.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oklahoma State is the favorite to win the conference this season, as the Cowboys have odds of +265 to win. Other short odds to win are Texas (+280), TCU (+350) and Oklahoma (+380).
Oklahoma State has won the Big 12 title twice in program history, last winning in 2011. The Cowboys went 8-5 last season and return 15 starters to this year’s team.
Texas has won the conference title 10 times in program history. The Longhorns haven’t won the title since 2009. Texas was 9-4 last season, but returns 20 starters for 2013.
TCU has never won the conference title, but is in the Big 12 for just its second season this year. The Horned Frogs went 7-6 last season, and return 18 starters to the team.
Oklahoma has won the conference title a total of 16 times. The last title came in 2010. The Sooners went 10-3 last season and return 12 starters this year.
