(TheSpread) – The 2013 College Football Season is not far off. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Alabama is the favorite to win the title again, as the Crimson Tide have 3/1 odds to win. The other short odds to win are Ohio State (13/2), Texas A&M (13/2) and Oregon (7/1).

The SEC has won the last seven BCS National Championship Games. Alabama has won the last two years and three of the last four years. The Tide return a lot of talent and seemingly are able to reload each season. Nick Saban will certainly have his team prepared.

Ohio State went unbeaten last year, but was unable to compete in a bowl game. This year, the sanctions are off, and Urban Meyer has one of the top quarterbacks in the country in Braxton Miller. Ohio State won the BCS title in 2003.

Texas A&M is in the SEC, so if the Aggies can win the conference title, they could play for the BCS title. A&M gets an early crack at home against Alabama and the Aggies also return Heisman winner Johnny Manziel this season.

Oregon played for the BCS title in the 2011 game, but lost to Auburn. The Ducks have been a national power for a few years now, but lost head coach Chip Kelly to the NFL. Offensive Coordinator Mark Helfrich is taking over the program and will likely run a similar style to what Kelly ran.
