Bielema has been busy with speaking engagements and recruiting since leaving Wisconsin in December. Beginning on Sunday, however, he’ll have 15 practices to learn about his new team.
Arkansas was 4-8 last season after the firing of coach Bobby Petrino.
Bielema was hired to restore the program to the levels it reached while compiling a 21-5 record in Petrino’s final two seasons.
First, however, he must find a new starting quarterback in the wake of Tyler Wilson’s graduation – with senior Brandon Mitchell and sophomore Brandon Allen the two likely contenders for the job.
