2015 CFB National Title Odds
(The Spread) – As a season comes to an end, a new season begins. Here is a look at the odds to win the 2015 College Football National Championship.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Florida State is the opening favorite to win next season’s title, as the Seminoles have 11/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Alabama (13/2), Stanford (9/1) and Ohio State (10/1).
Florida State won the BCS National Championship Game over Auburn Monday night, 34-31, to claim its first national title since 2000. The Seminoles will return plenty of talent next season, led by Heisman winner Jameis Winston at quarterback.
Alabama had a down year by its standards, going 11-1 and losing out on the SEC title and then falling in the Sugar Bowl to Oklahoma. Alabama had won three of the last four national titles prior to that season.
Stanford won the Pac-12 title this season but lost to Michigan State in the Rose Bowl. The Cardinal haven’t won a national title since 1940.
Ohio State came up shy on winning the Big Ten this season, losing to Michigan State in the conference title game. The Buckeyes had went 24-0 under Urban Meyer prior to that lost and it was followed up by a loss in the Orange Bowl. Ohio State hasn’t won the national title since 2002.
