View Current College Football Odds

Oregon comes into this game as an 8-point favorite against Kansas State, while the over/under total has been set at a lofty 75.5 points. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kansas State has been given over/under odds of 33.5 points for this game, while Oregon has been given over/under odds of 42 points for the Fiesta Bowl.

Kansas State comes into this game averaging 40.7 points per game on offense. The Wildcats have scored at least 34 points in all but four games this season. The only teams to hold them to less than that total were Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma and Iowa State. Oregon comes into this game allowing just 22 points per game on defense. For a high-scoring offense, the Oregon defense is still pretty impressive. The Ducks have allowed at least 34 points in just two games this season. Those games were a 62-51 win over USC and 57-34 win over Arkansas State. Kansas State may have the offense to move the ball on Oregon, but it is clear that Kansas State will likely need to score a lot to win this game.

Oregon enters the Fiesta Bowl averaging an impressive 50.8 points per game. The Ducks scored at least 43 points in all but two games this season. Those two games were a 42-25 win over Fresno State and a 17-14 overtime loss to Stanford. Oregon hasn’t faced a lot of tough defenses, outside of Stanford, so it is unclear just how it will stack up against the Kansas State defense. The Kansas State defense allowed an average of just 21.1 points per game this season. The Wildcats only allowed more than 42 points one time, and that was in its 52-24 loss to Baylor. Kansas State has faced a lot of strong offenses, but none are stronger than Oregon’s.
