Fiesta Bowl Player Prop Odds
GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – Kansas State and Oregon have plenty of superstars on offense. Here is a look at the prop odds for those players in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. View Current College Football Odds Oregon comes into this game as an 8-point favorite against Kansas State, while the over/under total has been set at a lofty 75.5 points. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein has been given over/under odds of 74.5 rushing yards against Oregon, and the Ducks running back Kenjon Barner has been give over/under odds of 138.5 rushing yards for this game. Klein has been Mr. Everything for the Wildcats. He has thrown for 2,490 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 890 yards and 22 touchdowns. Klein has rushed for at least 75 yards in six of his 12 games this season. His lowest rushing total came in the loss to Baylor when he was forced to throw a lot in order to try and score quickly. That could be an issue in this game as well if Oregon is able to do its thing on offense. Oregon has a defense that has given up an average of 146 rushing yards per game, which ranks fourth in the Pac-12. With Kansas State being a run-heavy offense, it could find success on the ground. Barner has rushed for 1,624 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. Barner has hit 139 yards rushing in five of his 12 games this season. He has had a steady diet of carries throughout the season as well, getting at least 20 in eight of Oregon’s 12 games. The Big 12 wasn’t known for outstanding defense, but Kansas State has been pretty solid. When it comes to rushing, Kansas State allows just 119.6 yards per game, which was second in the conference to TCU. Granted, Oregon will attack on the ground more than Kansas State has seen this season, but Barner may have trouble getting a big breakout run.
