PASADENA, CA (The Spread) – The Granddaddy of them all, the 2013 Rose Bowl takes place on Tuesday at 5PM ET with Stanford facing off against Wisconsin.

Stanford is 11-2 on the season and 8-5 against the spread while Wisconsin is 8-5 overall and 6-7 against the spread. Wisconsin has hit the over 8 times this season while Stanford has hit the under 8 times. These two last met in 2000 and Wisconsin has won the last two meetings with Stanford.

Stanford is coming of a 27-24 win over UCLA in the Pac-12 Championship. The Cardinal actually won their final seven games of the season to get to 11-2 overall. Stanford is being led this season by running back Stepfan Taylor, who has rushed for 1,442 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Wisconsin is coming off a 70-31 win over Nebraska in the Big Ten Championship Game. The Badgers went just 4-4 in Big Ten play, but was able to play for the conference title due to bans for Ohio State and Penn State. Still, after the win, head coach Brett Bielema bolted Wisconsin and took the Arkansas head coaching position. Now, AD and former coach, Barry Alvarez will coach the Badgers in today’s game. Wisconsin averaged 30.8 points per game on offense, while the defense is allowing just 19.1 points per game. The team is being led by running back Montee Ball, who has rushed for 1,730 yards and 21 touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Stanford punter Daniel Zychilinski is questionable with a shoulder injury. Wisconsin defensive back Peniel Jean is questionable with a knee injury while defense back Darius Hillary is questionable with a head injury.
