TAMPA, FL (The Spread) – One of the featured bowl games on Tuesday is the 2013 Outback Bowl with Michigan facing South Carolina at 1PM ET from Raymond James Stadium.

South Carolina is 10-2 on the season and 8-4 against the spread while Michigan is 8-4 overall and 5-7 against the spread. Michigan split the over/under total this season while South Carolina hit the over 7 times this season. These two have no recent meetings.

Michigan is coming off a 26-21 loss to Ohio State to end the regular season. The Wolverines went 6-2 in the Big Ten, losing to the Buckeyes and Nebraska. The Michigan offense averaged 30 points per game this season, while the defense allowed just 18.8 points per game. Denard Robinson has led the team with 1,319 passing yards and 1,166 rushing yards. However, Devin Gardner will start at quarterback. He has thrown for 1,005 yards and eight touchdowns over the final four games of the season. Robinson will still be used, but won’t be the starting quarterback.

In terms of Injuries, South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore will not play due to a knee injury while linebacker Cedrick Cooper is expected to miss this game with a knee injury. Michigan linebacker Brandin Hawthorne, punter Will Hagerup and cornerback J.T. Floyd have all been suspended for the game.
