According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Duke is the favorite in the ACC, as the Blue Devils have 10/11 odds. Other short odds to win are North Carolina State (5/2) and North Carolina (5/1).

Duke is No. 2 in the AP Poll, but No. 1 in the RPI rankings. The Blue Devils are off to a 9-0 start with big wins over the likes of Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State, all of which were ranked in the top 5 at the time. Duke is currently averaging 80 points per game while allowing 63.9 points per contest. The Blue Devils have a relatively easy four-game stretch until ACC play begins.

N.C. State is currently ranked 25th in the AP Poll. The Wolfpack are 6-2 this season with losses to Michigan and Oklahoma State. NC State did pick up a nice win over Connecticut last week. The Wolfpack meet Stanford this week in its toughest non-conference game remaining. The Wolfpack are averaging 77.8 points per game this year, but giving up 69.1 points per contest.

North Carolina is No. 20 in the current AP rankings. The Tar Heels are off to a 7-2 start with losses to Butler and top-ranked Indiana. UNC is lacking in any major wins having beat the likes of UAB and Mississippi State. The Heels will meet up with Texas and Virginia before starting ACC play. The Tar Heels are scoring 83.4 points per game while allowing 66.8 points per contest.
