Duke is No. 2 in the AP Poll, but No. 1 in the RPI rankings. The Blue Devils are off to a 9-0 start with big wins over the likes of Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State, all of which were ranked in the top 5 at the time. The Wolfpack meet Stanford this week in its toughest non-conference game remaining. The Wolfpack are averaging 77.8 points per game this year, but giving up 69.1 points per contest.
North Carolina is No. 20 in the current AP rankings. The Tar Heels are off to a 7-2 start with losses to Butler and top-ranked Indiana.
