The featured game of the day has No. 7 Syracuse taking on Minnesota at 5:30PM ET in the opening round of the EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Syracuse is favored in the game, as the Orange have odds of -1 point against Minnesota. Both teams are playing on a neutral site for the first time. Syracuse is 4-0 overall and 0-2 against the spread while Minnesota is 5-0 overall and 3-0 against the spread. These two have no recent meetings, but Syracuse is just 2-5 against the spread in its last 7 Big Ten games.

The other featured game of the day has No. 12 Gonzaga taking on Dayton at Midnight as part of the EA Sports Maui Invitational in Hawaii (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, Gonzaga is the favorite in this game, as the Bulldogs have odds of -7 points against Dayton. Both teams are 4-0 overall and playing in their first neutral-site game. Dayton is 1-1 against the spread this season while Gonzaga is 1-1-1 against the spread. These two have no recent meetings, but Gonzaga is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 against Atlantic 10 opponents.
