According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kentucky is the favorite to win it all, as they have 6/1 odds. Other short odds are Indiana (13/2) and Louisville (17/2).

Kentucky won last year’s national title but had to do an overhaul of the roster as most of the contributing talent left for the NBA. Like last year, Kentucky will be made up of largely freshmen. Kentucky is No. 3 in the preseason poll. Kentucky has won eight national titles in program history.

Indiana reached the Sweet Sixteen of last year’s tournament before bowing out to Kentucky. The Hoosiers have a solid returning class this year and have been ranked No. 1 in the preseason polls. The Hoosiers have won the national title five times, with the last title coming in 1987.

Louisville reached the Final Four last year before losing to Kentucky. The Cardinals are ranked No. 2 in the preseason polls. Louisville returns three starters this year. The Cardinals have won two national titles in program history, with the last coming in 1986.
