Donovan Awarded

Los Angeles, CA - Florida's Billy Donovan will be honored with the Legends of Coaching award as part of the 2010 Wooden Award ceremony.

Donovan will receive the award at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in April, along with the men's and women's Wooden Award winners as college basketball's players of the year.

He guided the Gators to NCAA championships in 2006 and '07, and has a record of 310-126 in 13 seasons at Florida. The Gators have recorded 11 consecutive 20-win seasons and made nine NCAA tournament appearances under him.
Previous Legends of Coaching winners include Jim Calhoun, Mike Krzyzewski, Roy Williams and Dean Smith.
