According to oddsmakers, Indiana is the favorite to win the title next year, as they have 7/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Louisville (8/1) and Kentucky (10/1).

The Hoosiers return the majority of their team back from last season and they reached the Sweet Sixteen this past tournament. Indiana has won the NCAA Tournament five times, with the last coming in 1987.

Similar to Indiana, Louisville had a young team last season, but still managed to reach the Final Four and won the Big East Tournament. Louisville has won the NCAA Tournament two times, the last coming in 1986.

Kentucky won the 2012 championship but saw their starting five leave for the NBA. Still, the Wildcats are reloading through recruiting and should have another strong team that may be together for only one year. Kentucky has won eight national titles in program history.
