The 6-11 freshman center is expected to be one of the top picks in the NBA Draft this summer, if not the No. 1 overall pick. In his lone season with the Blue Devils, Okafor averaged 17.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. He shot an impressive 66.4 percent from the floor but was just 51.0 percent from the charity stripe.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Duke is listed at 16/1 to repeat as national champions in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. North Carolina is the favorite with 13/2 odds while Kentucky has 8/1 odds.

By leaving after his freshman season, Okafor is the sixth Duke player to be one-and-done. Jabari Parker left last year after his freshman season and was one of the top picks in the 2014 NBA Draft. Duke could also be losing another pair of freshmen in Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones, who have yet to decide their future, but are both potential lottery picks as well.
