ARLINGTON, TX (TheSpread) – The 2014 NCAA Tournament is down to two teams. Here is a look at the opening odds for Monday’s championship game between Kentucky and Connecticut.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kentucky is the favorite to win this game, as the Wildcats have odds of -3 points against Connecticut. The over/under total for the game has been set at 133.5 points.

Connecticut advanced to the title game with a 63-53 win over Florida on Saturday night. The Huskies fell behind 16-4 in the opening half, but then dominated the game from that point on. UConn went 24 of 43 from the floor and 5 of 12 from 3-point land in the win while holding the Gators to 19 of 49 shooting from the field and 1 of 10 shooting from 3-point land. DeAndre Daniels had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Huskies while Ryan Boatright added 13 points and six rebounds.

Kentucky advanced to Monday’s title game by beating Wisconsin, 74-73, in another classic tournament game for the Wildcats. The contest was back and forth for the full 40 minutes, but another late 3-pointer from Aaron Harrison got UK the win. Kentucky shot 29 of 58 from the field in the win and had just four turnovers. James Young had 17 points and five rebounds for Kentucky while Julius Randle had 16 points and five rebounds.

The 2014 National Championship Game will be held on Monday, April 7 at 9:10PM ET on CBS. The game will be played from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
