Louisville reached the Final Four by making an impressive run through the Midwest Region, arguably the toughest region of the four. Wichita State, a nine seed, was the surprise winner of the West Region. The Shockers disposed of top-seeded Gonzaga and second-seeded Ohio State on its road to Atlanta. The Shockers are now 30-8 on the season, 9-1 on a neutral court and 19-14-2 against the spread. Forward Cleanthony Early has led the team this season with 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while forward Carl Hall is posting 12.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
