Connecticut vs. Florida Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida is the favorite to win this game, as the Gators have odds of -6 points against the Huskies. The over/under total for the game has been set at 126.5 points (View Matchup). These two met back on 2013, with UConn beating Florida 65-64 for the Gators’ last loss.

Florida is 36-2 on the season and 18-15-1 against the spread. The Gators have hit the under in 22 of 34 lined games. The Gators have now won 30 straight games thanks to their 62-52 win over Dayton in the South Regional final. The Gators are led by their dynamic defense, which is holding opponents to 57.6 points per game on 39.9 percent shootings. Offensively, Florida isn’t bad, but lacking in a lot of reliable scoring. The Gators average 70.4 points per game while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor. Scottie Wilbekin is averaging 13.4 points and 3.7 assists to lead Florida while Casey Prather adds 13.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Connecticut reached the Final Four by beating Michigan State, 60-54 in the East Regional Final. The Huskies have shown great energy on both sides of the floor in the Tournament. They are now holding opponents to 63.7 points per game on the season on 39.2 percent shooting. On offense, UConn is averaging 72.4 points per game while shooting 38.9 percent from 3-point land. The team is lead by Shabazz Napier, who leads UConn in scoring (18.1 ppg), rebounds (5.9 rpg), assists (4.9 apg) and steals (1.7 spg). DeAndre Daniels is adding 13 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
