The first game taking place has second-seeded Baylor taking on third-seeded BYU at 7PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Baylor is the favorite in this game, as the Bears have odds of -3 points against BYU. The over/under total has been set at 153 points. Baylor is 21-14 on the season, 2-2 on a neutral floor and 15-15 against the spread. BYU is 24-11 overall, 0-3 on a neutral floor and 16-17-1 against the spread. Baylor beat BYU, 79-64, back on Dec. 21 and the Bears also beat the Cougars last season, 86-83.
The second semifinal has third-seeded Iowa taking on second-seeded Maryland at 9PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Hawkeyes are the favorite in this game, as they have odds of -3 points against the Terrapins. The over/under total for this game has been set at 135.5 points. Maryland is 25-12 overall, 3-2 on a neutral floor and 17-12-1 against the spread. Iowa is 24-12 overall, 3-2 on a neutral floor and 23-9 against the spread. These two teams havenβt met since 1999, with Maryland picking up an 83-65 win over Iowa.
