NCAA Championship Prop Odds
Kentucky comes into the game as the favorite over Kansas, with a point spread of -6 while the over/under total has been set at 137.5 points. When looking at the prop odds for both teams, one to consider is total points. The over/under on points for Kentucky has been set at 72, while the over/under for Kansas sits at 66 points. Kentucky scoring 77.6 points per game while Kansas is allowing 61.6 per contest. The Jayhawks are scoring 73.8 points per game while the Wildcats are allowing 60.6 points per game. These two met back in November with Kentucky earning a 75-65 win over the Jayhawks.
When looking at players, it is hard to avoid the freshman forward stud, Anthony Davis. Oddsmakers have given Davis an over/under of 16.5 points for this championship game. Davis has averaged just 14.4 points per game on the season and he is averaging 15.2 points per game during the NCAA Tournament. However, Davis has stepped up recently, scoring 18 points in each of the last two games for Kentucky. In the win over Kentucky earlier this season, Davis had 14 points on 6 of 8 shooting.
For Kansas, forward Thomas Robinson has been given over/under odds of 17.5 points for Monday’s title game. Robinson has been the clear leader for Kansas this season, averaging 17.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. In the NCAA Tournament, Robinson is scoring 16.4 points per game. Like Davis, Robinson has been strong recently, scoring at least 18 points in Kansas’ last three games. In the loss to Kentucky earlier this season, Robinson had just 11 points on 5 of 12 shooting in 27 minutes of play.
