NEW ORLEANS, LA (TheSpread) – Just one game remains in the 2011-12 College Basketball Season. Here is a look at the opening odds for Monday’s National Championship Game.

Monday’s title game will take place from the Superdome in New Orleans. The game features Kentucky taking on Kansas at 9:23PM ET. According to the oddsmakers, Kentucky has opened as a 6.5-point favorite against the Jayhawks The over/under point total for the game has been set at 139.5 points. When looking at money lines, Kansas has been given odds of +270 to win while Kentucky has a money line of -330.

Kentucky is 37-2 on the season and 10-1 on a neutral floor while Kansas is 32-6 overall and 8-3 on a neutral floor. The Jayhawks are 19-17-1 against the spread on the season while Kentucky is just 15-22-1 ATS. Kansas has actually won three of the last four against Kentucky and covered the spread in four of the last five against the Wildcats. Kentucky did pick up a 75-65 win over Kansas at Madison Square Garden early in the season. Kentucky shot over 50 percent in the win and had five players score at least 12 points in the win while Kansas shot just 33.9 percent from the floor.
