Kentucky vs. Michigan Odds


INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – The last ticket to the Final Four will be punched today at 5:05PM ET when No. 2 Michigan takes on No. 8 Kentucky in the MidWest Regional Final.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kentucky is the slight favorite in the game, as the Wildcats have odds of -2 points against the Wolverines. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 141 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Kentucky is 18-15-2 against the spread and the Wildcats have hit the under in 19 of 34 lined games. Kentucky reached today’s championship game by beating in-state rival, No. 4 Louisville, 74-69. The Wildcats fell behind 18-5 to start, but slowly fought their way to the lead and the win. Kentucky pulled down 15 offensive rebounds in the game and went 22 of 27 from the free-throw line to help in the comeback. Julius Randle had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Wildcats while Aaron Harrison added 15 points with three steals. Kentucky did get some bad news in the game, as lengthy forward Willie Cauley-Stein suffered an ankle injury that will keep him out of today’s game.

Michigan is now 18-14-2 against the spread and the Wolverines have hit the over in 20 of 34 lined games. The Wolverines reached the regional final with a narrow 73-71 win over No. 11 Tennessee on Friday. Michigan led by 15 points with 10:57 to play but saw the Volunteers have a chance to take the lead with 9 seconds. Jordan Morgan drew a charge on the possession and secured the win for the Wolverines. Michigan was an impressive 27 of 49 from the field and 11 of 20 from 3-point land in the win. Morgan finished with 15 points and seven rebounds to lead Michigan, while Glenn Robinson III had 13 points and five rebounds.

These two will face off in the Elite 8 of the MidWest Region, today at 5:05PM ET on CBS. The game will be held from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
