The team also dished out 21 assists on the 33 field goals. Defensively, Gulf Coast forced San Diego State into 17 turnovers. Bernard Thompson had 23 points and four rebounds to lead Gulf Coast in the win. FGCU is now 26-10 on the season, 5-0 on a neutral floor and 6-0 against the spread.
