Thursday's NIT Championship Odds


NEW YORK (TheSpread) – The 2012 NIT Tournament has reached its championship game. Here is a look at the odds and over/under total for tonight’s final.

Tonight’s game takes place from Madison Square Garden, and the title game features Stanford facing off with Minnesota at 7PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, this game is even on the point spread and will be straight up for oddsmakers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 131 points. Since the matchup was set, each team has been a 1-point favorite at different times until Wednesday night. Now the spread has just been eliminated.

Minnesota is 23-14 on the season and 4-2 on a neutral floor while Stanford is 25-11 overall and 3-2 on a neutral court. The Cardinal are 18-15 against the spread this season and have hit the over 18 times while the Golden Gophers are 19-13-2 against the spread and have hit the over in 17 games on the season. These two have no recent meetings but Stanford has covered the spread in its last two games while Minnesota has covered in its last eight contests.
