(The Spread) – Two teams that were controversially left out of the NCAA Tournament will square off tonight in the NIT semi-finals.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Alabama a 2.5-point favorite over Colorado on Tuesday night, while the over/under total is currently 143.5 points.
The Buffaloes are coming off an 81-74 victory over Kent State but failed to cover the 10.5-point spread. They also topped Cal and covered as a 6-point favorite, although when they beat Texas Southern on March 16 they failed to cover as an 18.5-point favorite.
In their last three games, the Crimson Tide beat Miami 79-64 and covered as a 5.5-point favorite, while they pushed against New Mexico in a 74-67 victory. In its 68-44 win over Coastal Carolina, ‘Bama covered as a 12-point favorite.
College Basketball Free Pick: It’ll be offense vs. defense tonight when Alabama’s stingy defense takes on Colorado’s explosive offense. I think the Tide will control the pace tonight and frustrate Alec Burks and Marcus Relphorde. The Crimson Tide are 4-1 against the spread in their last five Tuesday games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall. They’re also 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win and 4-0-1 ATS in their alt five non-conference games. Roll Tide.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL FREE PICK: ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE –2.5
