Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made Wichita State a 3-point over Washington State, while the over/under total is currently 142 points. In the other semi-final game, Alabama is also a 2-point favorite over Colorado, while the over/under total is 143.5 points.
According to latest college basketball trends, the Crimson Tide are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games as a favorite of 0.5-6.5 points and 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games. They’re also 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
For Colorado, Alec Burks leads the Buffaloes in points scored (20.5) and assists (2.9), while Andre Roberson has a team-high average in rebounds at 7.9. Tony Mitchell (15.5 points per game), Trevor Releford (3.3 assists) and JaMychal Green (7.7 rebounds) lead Alabama.
The Colorado-Alabama matchup pits two teams that were controversially left out of the NCAA tournament. The Tide are 1-5 at a neutral site this season and failed to cover in four of those five games. The Buffaloes are 3-2 at neutral sites and covered in three of those five games.
The winners of these two games will move on to Thursday’s championship game.
