Arizona is making its 11th appearance in the Elite 8 tonight and going for its fifth Final Four appearance. Wisconsin is appearing in its sixth regional final and seeking its fourth Final Four appearance. These two met in a regional final last year with Wisconsin picking up a 64-63 OT win over the Wildcats.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Arizona is the slight favorite in this contest, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -1.5 points against Wisconsin. The over/under total for the game has been set at 133.5 points. This game is being played from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Arizona is very hot, as it is riding a 14-game win streak. The Wildcats are coming off a 68-60 win over Xavier on Thursday night in a very competitive and back-and-forth game. The Wildcats didn’t cover the spread in that game and they are just 2-3 against the spread in their last five. Arizona has been hitting the under as of late, doing so in five of their last six games.
Wisconsin is riding a 9-game winning streak entering tonight’s Elite 8 game. The Badgers are coming off a 79-72 win over North Carolina on Thursday night. That was also a very back-and-forth contest that Wisconsin surged at the end to win. The Badgers covered in the win, but they are just 3-3 ATS in their last six. Wisconsin has been trending with the over, hitting it in six of their last nine games.
