The Irish are making their sixth appearance in the Elite Eight and first since 1979. They are seeking just their second Final Four appearance. Kentucky is playing in the Elite Eight for the 36th time and seeking their 17th Final Four appearance. These two last met in 2012 with Notre Dame getting a 64-50 home victory.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is a clear favorite in this game, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -11 points against the Irish. The over/under total for the game has been set at 136 points. This game is being played from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
