Michigan St. vs. Virginia Prop Odds

NEW YORK, NY (TheSpread) – No. 1 Virginia and No. 4 Michigan State will look to establish their star scorers in Friday’s NCAA Tournament game. Here is a look at the prop odds available for this contest.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Michigan State is the slight favorite in the game, as the Spartans have odds of -2 points against Virginia The over/under total for the game has been set at 127 points (View Matchup). When it comes to players, the focus is on Adreian Payne of Michigan State and Joe Harris of Virginia.

Oddsmakers have given Payne an over/under of 15.5 points and 22.5 points+rebounds for the game. Payne has scored 53 points and pulled down 12 rebounds over the two tournament games, but that included a 41-point performance against Delaware. Payne is 14 of 25 from the field in March Madness and 5 of 8 from 3-point land. On the season, the senior forward averaged 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds. Payne has scored at least 16 points in 16 of the 29 games he played in this season. He had double-digit rebounds in just seven games.

Joe Harris has been given over/under odds of 11.5 points for tonight’s regional semifinal. Harris has 27 points on 9 of 18 shooting in the NCAA Tournament. The senior guard averaged 11.8 points on 44.1 percent shooting during the season. Harris has scored at least 12 points in 20 of Virginia’s 36 games. The Cavaliers rely more on defense than offense to win, but may need more than their 66.4 point average to win on Friday night.
