Michigan State vs. Virginia Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Michigan State is the slight favorite in the game, as the Spartans have odds of -2 points against Virginia The over/under total for the game has been set at 127 points (View Matchup). These two last met in 2002.

Michigan State is now 20-12-3 against the spread and the Spartans have hit the over in 19 of 35 lined games. Michigan State has won five straight entering this game thanks to a 93-78 win over No. 13 Delaware and an 80-73 win over No. 12 Harvard. The Spartans were able to beat the Crimson with offense, shooting 28 of 57 from the field. MSU also created nine steals in the win. Branden Dawson had a career-high 26 points in the win to go along with nine rebounds. Gary Harris added 18 points and five assists while Adreian Payne added 12 points.

Virginia is 19-11-2 against the spread now and the Cavaliers have split the over/under in 30 lined games. Virginia has won five straight thanks to a 70-59 win over No. 16 Coastal Carolina and a 78-60 win over No. 8 Memphis. Virginia dominated the Tigers with its defense, holding the Tigers to 24 of 59 shooting from the field and 3 of 13 shooting from 3-point land. The Cavaliers also had a 40-28 rebounding edge. Offensively, Virginia shot 30 of 54 from the floor. Joe Harris had 16 points and five rebounds to lead Virginia in the win while Anthony Gill had 13 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
