Kentucky vs. Louisville Odds

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – Two rivals clash in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament tonight at 9:45PM ET as No. 4 Louisville faces No. 8 Kentucky.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Louisville is slightly favored as the Cardinals have odds of -4 points against Kentucky today. The over/under total for the game has been set at 138.5 points (View Matchup). These two met on Dec. 28, with Kentucky picking up a 73-66 win at home. Kentucky has won five of its last six against Louisville.

Louisville comes into the game 20-14 against the spread and the Cardinals have hit the under in 17 of 32 lined games. Louisville has now won seven straight since beating No. 13 Manhattan 71-64 and No. 5 Saint Louis, 66-51 last week. Louisville was dominant on defense against the Billikens, holding them to 21 of 53 shooting from the field and 0 of 15 from 3-point land. Offensively, Louisville shot 22 of 49 from the field, but had 19 turnovers. Luke Hancock had 21 points to lead the Cardinals, while Montrezl Harrell had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Kentucky is now 17-15-2 against the spread and the Wildcats have hit the under in 19 of 33 lined games. The Wildcats are playing as strong as they have all season. They beat No. 9 Kansas State 56-49 and then went on to defeat No. 1 Wichita State, 78-76. The Wildcats had a classic with the Shockers in handing them their only loss. Both teams shot over 50 percent from the floor. The key for Kentucky was a 32-23 rebounding edge on Wichita State. Kentucky was led in the win by Andrew Harrison, who had 20 points while Julius Randle had 13 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
