WASHINGTON, DC (ATS Consultants) - Two teams that survived scares last weekend will battle when No. 3 Marquette takes on No. 2 Miami at 7:15PM ET when the Sweet 16 kicks off tonight.

ODDS: According to odds makers from online sports book, the Hurricanes are 6-point favorites over the Golden Eagles, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 126.5 points. Marquette is 25-8 overall while Miami is 29-6 on the year.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Hurricanes opened as 5-point favorites but the spread has been bet up to 6 at most online and Las Vegas sport books. As for the total, it opened at 127 and has been bet down to 126.5 or 126 depending on what sports book you view.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 64% of the betting public favors Miami. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the “Public Betting” link leading up to tip off.

MARCH MADNESS FREE PICK: Take Miami. According to latest college basketball trends, the Golden Eagles are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games on Thursday and 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four non-conference games. They’re also 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Hurricanes are 4-1 against the number in their last five games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five neutral site contests.

Marquette hasn't seen a team as experienced, balanced and talented as the Hurricanes. Wins over Davidson and Butler were impressive only because the Golden Eagles had to come back late to win those games. But those teams weren't nearly as physical or athletic as a Miami team that offers dynamic point guard Shane Larkin and lanky defender Kenny Kadji (6-11, 242), who averages 13 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
