ANAHEIM, CA (TheSpread) – Thursday’s play in the NCAA Tournament concludes in the West Region with No. 1 Arizona taking on No. 4 San Diego State at 10:17PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Arizona is the clear favorite in this game, as the Wildcats have odds of -7.5 points against San Diego State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 122 points (View Matchup). These two met on Nov. 14 with Arizona picking up a 69-60 road win and covering the -3-point spread. The Wildcats have won five of their last seven meetings with the Aztecs, but San Diego State has covered in three of its last four against the Wildcats.

Arizona is now 21-14 against the spread and the Wildcats have hit the under in 20 of 34 lined games. Arizona opened the tournament with a 68-59 win over No. 16 Weber State. The Wildcats then beat No. 8 Gonzaga 84-61. Arizona was smothering in its win over Gonzaga, forcing 21 turnovers of the Bulldogs while holding them to 22 of 54 shooting. Offensively, Arizona went 32 of 65 shooting from the floor and picked up 24 assists on the 32 field goals. Aaron Gordon led the Wildcats with 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 18 points, five assists and four blocks off the bench.

San Diego State is 19-13 against the spread and it has hit the under 23 times in 31 lined games. The Aztecs beat No. 13 New Mexico State 73-69 in overtime and then beat No. 12 North Dakota State 63-44. The Aztecs beat the Bison with defense, holding them to 15 of 47 shooting from the field and 2 of 11 shooting from 3-point land. San Diego State also held a 38-27 rebounding edge while committing just six turnovers on offense. San Diego State was led by Xavier Thames, who had 30 points and five assists. Dwayne Polee II came off the bench and scored 15 points and six rebounds.
