Baylor vs. Wisconsin Odds

ANAHEIM, CA (TheSpread) – No. 2 Wisconsin looks to return to the Elite 8 on Friday when it faces No. 6 Baylor in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament at 7:47PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Wisconsin is the slight favorite, as the Badgers have odds of -3.5 points against the Bears. The over/under total for the game has been set at 136.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Wisconsin is 19-16 against the spread this season and the Badgers have hit the over 19 times. Wisconsin defeated No. 15 American 75-35 in the second round of the tournament and then defeated No. 7 Oregon, 85-77 to each the Sweet 16. The Badgers found themselves in a battle with the Ducks, trailing most of the game. Wisconsin was able to get the win thanks to its strong shooting and rebounds. The Badgers went 29 of 60 from the field and hit 11 3-pointers in the win while holding a 36-26 rebounding edge on Oregon. Frank Kaminsky had 19 points and five rebounds to lead Wisconsin while Traevon Jackson had 16 points with eight rebounds and five assists.

Baylor is 15-14-2 against the spread and the Bears have hit the over 16 times in 30 lined games. Baylor had an impressive opening weekend to the tournament, beating No. 11 Nebraska 74-60 before topping No. 3 Creighton 85-55. The Bears were dominant over the Bluejays, shooting 30 of 47 from the floor and 11 of 18 from 3-point land while outrebounding Creighton 32-22. Baylor also held Creighton to just 22 of 55 shooting from the floor and 5 of 24 shooting from 3-point land. Isaiah Austin and Brady Heslip each had 17 points to lead Baylor while Royce O’Neale added 10 points and eight assists.
